It is a non-contact infrared (IR) temperature sensor that does not require an external power source. It can detect temperature very quickly, in just 100 milliseconds, and can be connected to thermometers, temperature data loggers, temperature controllers, etc., similar to thermocouple K/J/E/T type sensors, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The MI1IRt-C03-K-260M has a distance coefficient (field of view) of 3:1 (17°), allowing it to measure temperature in narrow ranges.
