This is the latest electric resistance moisture meter. It measures the moisture content of compost and is used for quality control. Simply insert the sensor into the sample and press the switch to instantly display the moisture value in percentage. It features eight user range functions and average value display, allowing for on-site comparative testing.

■Caution This product is designed to measure the resistance value between two poles installed in the sensor section and display it as a provisional moisture value. The moisture display value is not absolute. It is displayed relatively to the electrical resistance value, so if the sample contains conductive substances (such as salt or metals), there may be a difference from the actual moisture value. However, if the proportion of the substances in the measured object is uniform and small (within a range that does not significantly affect the moisture value), it can be used for comparative testing based on the settings of this device. ■Measurement Precautions ● Unstable powdery or granular substances cannot be measured when placed against the sensor. ● The measurement value will change depending on the pressure applied to the sensor, so please keep the pressure as constant as possible for each measurement. ● Temperature compensation is performed with the M432RX-1500G sensor, so if the temperature is within the measurement temperature range, temperature conversion of the measurement value is unnecessary. However, if there is a temperature difference between the measured object and the sensor, it may cause measurement errors. Therefore, please insert the sensor and allow time for the temperatures of the measured object and the sensor to equilibrate before taking a measurement.
