In 1970, at a time when the concept of torque management did not exist, we developed the world's first industrial electric screwdriver capable of precise torque control using current control with a dial. In 1977, we introduced an auto-clutch driver that automatically controls accurate torque, achieving technological innovation. The following year, we began developing torque measuring instruments in pursuit of improved screw fastening quality management. The mechanism of the FIDAPTER was developed by us, alleviating the effects of inertia during torque measurement with clutch-type electric screwdrivers, enabling the detection of accurate torque values. Standards for screw fastening quality management were established, leading to new innovations. Today, torque measuring instruments are used in manufacturing sites in over 90 countries worldwide.
