Waring processing is a method that allows for the efficient machining of long screws, high-lead screws, worm gears, and more using automatic lathes. It involves using a special disk equipped with numerous inserts, which is mounted on a dedicated holder that allows for angle adjustments. The disk is offset relative to the workpiece, and both the workpiece and the ring are rotated in the same direction during machining. This method minimizes burr formation and can efficiently process workpieces with large cutting volumes, making it widely used for machining titanium and stainless steel bone screws.
