Same-day delivery of express parcels between Kanto and Chubu regions is now possible! Yamato Holdings Co., Ltd. has completed the comprehensive logistics terminal "Chubu Gateway" (hereafter: Chubu GW) that integrates a speed transportation network with value-added functions under the "Value Networking" initiative currently promoted by the Yamato Group. Full-scale operations are scheduled to begin on October 1. With the operation of Chubu GW, frequent trunk transportation between Haneda Chronogate, Atsugi GW, and Chubu GW will be possible, enabling same-day delivery of express parcels between the Kanto and Chubu regions. Additionally, by collaborating with the value-added functions such as merging and kitting provided by six group companies located within the terminal, along with state-of-the-art material handling equipment operating 24 hours a day and various transportation modes including air freight and JITBOX charter services, we will provide new speed and added value to corporate logistics.
