Bus and truck sonar system (backup sonar)

Low-speed accident reduction sonar system, detects obstacles in front of and behind buses and trucks with up to 8 sensors. Over 6,000 units sold since launch.

This system is designed and developed by a Japanese sensor manufacturer that holds a 60% share of the global ultrasonic sensor market and is manufactured at its overseas factories. The controller is combined with a dedicated ECU that incorporates a unique algorithm, achieving over 6,000 units supplied within six years for trucks and buses. It is a sonar system for buses and trucks, composed of a dedicated controller and ultrasonic sensors designed and developed in Japan, capable of supporting up to 8 channels. The basic configuration of the system comes in two types: - On-screen display type that shows detection distance with backup monitor interruption - Dedicated LED indicator display type The basic sensor configurations are 2ch, 4ch, 6ch, and 8ch. The basic installation positions are 2ch in the front and 6ch in the rear (2ch on the upper side / 4ch on the lower side). The sensor angles can be adjusted to some extent. *Compatible with both 12V and 24V systems. If requested, vehicle installation can also be carried out by a partner company with proven experience.
