Truck low-speed collision prevention can detect collisions in the upper front area with eight sensors.
Low-speed accident reduction sonar. Specifically covers the upper front of box vehicles with two sensors, detecting obstacles with up to eight sensors in total, including the rear. Over 4,000 units in operation.
The system reduces the risk of accidents during slow entry into a dockyard dog shelter when reversing, as well as the risk of collisions in situations where there is a danger of contact with the upper front of a box truck (at low speeds). This system is designed and developed by a Japanese sensor manufacturer that holds a 60% share of the global market for ultrasonic sensor elements, and it is manufactured at their overseas factory. The controller combines a dedicated ECU with a unique algorithm, and within six years of supply for trucks and buses, over 6,000 units have been achieved. This is a sonar system for buses and trucks, consisting of a dedicated controller and ultrasonic sensors designed and developed in Japan, configurable with up to 8 channels. The basic configuration of the system has two types: - On-screen display type that shows detection distance with backup monitor interruption - Dedicated LED indicator display type The basic sensor configurations are 2ch, 4ch, 6ch, and 8ch. The basic installation positions are 2ch at the front and 6ch at the rear (2ch upper / 4ch lower). The sensor angles can be adjusted to some extent. *Compatible with both 12V and 24V. If requested, vehicle installation can also be carried out by a partner company with proven experience.
