EPDM waterproof packing that doesn't "wear out" even with long-term use.
The "non-collapsing" waterproof packing, which can almost eliminate permanent deformation even with long-term use, significantly reduces the frequency of waterproof packing replacements!
High resilience ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) ensures that even with long-term use as a waterproof packing, it "does not lose its shape"! By utilizing this feature, it is possible to significantly reduce the frequency of packing replacements. As a material, EPDM excels in chemical resistance, cold resistance, ozone resistance, and aging resistance. Its inherent elasticity as sponge rubber, combined with the characteristic of "not losing shape" and a certain load response, allows it to be utilized as a "damping material." High resilience rubber sponge has an extremely small permanent deformation strain, providing excellent shape retention. Even after being subjected to pressure for an extended period, it returns to its original shape instantly once released. - Features - - High weather resistance due to EPDM (ethylene propylene rubber) - Operating temperature range: -20 to +80°C - Sulfur-free grade with free sulfur below the measurement limit - Flame retardant/oil resistant grade (railway flame retardant compliant) * Custom cutting to required lengths available, with adhesive tape for delivery - Instantly restores from a compressed state - High shape retention - Extremely small permanent deformation strain - Soft sponge suitable for a wide range of applications

☆Product lineup tailored to applications - SSF: Standard hardness SSF, hardness 20 - SSF-HARD: For areas requiring particularly high airtightness, hardness 30 - SSF-PO: For areas where issues arise due to free sulfur, hardness 15 - SSF-CR: For areas requiring flame resistance and oil resistance, hardness 20 - SSF-SOFT: For areas that require water sealing with small stress, hardness 2
Price information
Prices vary based on quantity. We can offer a cost difference of about 10-20% compared to standard EPDM. *Basically, the materials are the same, and the "non-sagging" function is achieved through differences in manufacturing methods.

Applications/Examples of results
Examples utilizing the concept of "not deteriorating": - Seals for equipment that are difficult to replace after installation in mountainous or remote areas - Seals for parts integrated within equipment that are not easily replaceable - Electrical boxes and distribution boards that lose waterproofing due to deterioration (Waterproofing) - Seals for tsunami barrier doors - Seals for bathroom fixtures in residential settings (apron water stops, drainage channels, inspection openings, etc.) - Seals for various industrial equipment (Air tightness) - Odor dispersion prevention - Paper dust dispersion prevention - Air-tight seals around doors (Rubber dampers utilizing the elasticity of rubber sponge) - Automotive hood dampers
