Moldless sheet metal pressing for small lot production and prototypes.
No need for mold production! Utilizing special jigs and forming, we provide press parts with overwhelmingly short lead times and low costs! Ideal for small-scale production and prototypes.
- Mold-less processing using special jigs It is possible to minimize the cost of the main mold, which has been a barrier in prototyping and small-scale production. It is suitable for shallow drawing, bead processing, embossing, and edge drawing. Since a main mold is not required, products can be provided at an overwhelmingly low cost and short delivery time. *Note: Due to the lifespan of the jigs, it is not suitable for mass production exceeding 1,000 units. - Sheet metal processing through forming (processing using jigs and forming) Recommended materials: Stainless steel (t0.1 to 2.0 mm) Iron-based (t0.3 to 3.2 mm) Aluminum (t0.3 to 5.0 mm) Maximum processing range: Maximum drawing size: 1500 × 1200 mm Maximum drawing depth: 400 mm (a 25-degree incline is required) Maximum processing speed: 500 mm/sec
basic information
Sheet metal processing using special jigs (mainly drawing processing) - SUS: 0.1t to 1.2t - Iron-based: 0.3t to 2.0t - Aluminum: 0.3t to 2.0t Maximum size: 1000×800mm Maximum drawing depth: 300mm Sheet metal processing by forming (mainly using special jigs) - SUS: 0.5t to 1.2t - Iron-based: 0.8t to 2.0t - Aluminum: 0.8t to 4.0t Maximum drawing depth: up to 10mm (varies depending on plate thickness and material) It is also possible to combine laminated jigs and forming. 1500×1200mm - SUS: 0.1t to 2.0t - Iron-based: 0.3t to 3.2t - Aluminum: 0.3t to 5.0t * Titanium and magnesium can also be accommodated. Products can be supplied within approximately two weeks. This method achieves a balance of QCD (Quality, Cost, Delivery) for prototype and small-lot mass production without the need for molds. * Due to the nature of the processing, vertical drawing is difficult. The minimum inclination angle varies by product, but at least a 15-degree incline is required.
Price information
It can be manufactured using a jig with laminated thin sheets without the need for a press mold. Since it can be formed with either a die or punch laminated jig, depending on the shape, it can be supplied as a finished product at less than one-fourth the cost of mold manufacturing and with a delivery time of about two weeks.
