Safe and secure for both drivers and pedestrians! Blind spots can be supported by technology! This product supports blind spot checks for buses. It warns of obstacles with visual and audio alerts. The system detects obstacles hidden in blind spots when the vehicle is moving at approximately 10 km/h or less, such as immediately after departure or just before stopping, reducing the risk of vehicle damage and personal accidents. It also warns of often-overlooked dangers like sudden crossings, bicycles, pedestrians, structures, strollers, children, and crouching individuals. This enhances the reliability and safety of operations, contributing to your company's stable operations and business continuity. Additionally, it can reduce the mental burden on new drivers. With an increasing number of passenger cars equipped as standard, understanding of their safety and convenience has progressed, and societal demands for safe operation management have risen, fulfilling social responsibilities and helping to reduce the burden on drivers, thus aiding in human resource development. ● Safety measures for one-person operation ● Collision accident measures due to a shortage of experienced drivers ● Prevention of upper rear collisions ● Prevention of eaves collisions Designed and developed by a Japanese ultrasonic element manufacturer with a 60% share of the global market, and manufactured at our overseas factories. Since the start of series sales for not only buses but also commercial vehicles, we have achieved cumulative sales of over 20,000 units.

Applications/Examples of results

As a measure to prevent the recurrence of accidents where the upper rear of the bus collides with eaves, there are numerous cases of installing two sensors at the upper rear corner of the vehicle and four sensors at the lower front of the vehicle to detect pedestrians crossing just before departure and avoid accidents. A maximum of eight sensors can be installed on one vehicle (some series can accommodate up to six sensors). There have been cases where accidents that could not be prevented by visual checks or monitors were avoided in advance by using a sonar system, which enabled visual and audible warnings, significantly reducing the accident rate. Track record of our sonar system series installed on commercial vehicles: Bus-related adoption records (in no particular order): - Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Transportation: over 1,000 units - Yokohama City Transportation Bureau: over 200 units - Keisei Bus Group: over 1,000 units for route, sightseeing, and limousine buses - Kanagawa Chuo Kotsu: currently in trial operation - Many other major bus companies have adopted it for route buses, sightseeing buses, and shuttle buses. Transport-related adoption records (in no particular order): - Bait Transport: over 100 units - Nippon Express: over 2,000 units - Co-op: over 500 units nationwide Dealer installation records (in no particular order): - Hino Motors: over 1,500 units - Isuzu Motors: over 200 units - Scania Japan: 30 units
