Utilizing cold water generated by waste heat recovery equipment for air conditioning within the sports center.

Utilizing waste heat to cover the base operation of existing equipment! Reducing CO2 emissions by approximately 180 tons per year.

We would like to introduce a case study of decarbonization through waste heat utilization in cogeneration conducted by our company. At a sports center, we added a waste heat utilization unit (cooling output 704kW) to an existing electric air conditioning unit (cooling output 1,408kW). By using the waste heat utilization unit to cover the base operation of the existing unit, we reduced electricity consumption and CO2 emissions. 【Case Overview】 ■ Business Type: Sports Center ■ Model: Hot Water Absorption Chiller 100RT (2 units) ■ Waste Heat Amount: 1,005kW (waste hot water) ■ Cooling Water Application: Air conditioning for recreational space ■ Energy Saving Effect: 408,800 (kWh/year) *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
