Utilizing geothermal energy for factory cooling.
Use of cold water for air conditioning within the factory! A case study that reduced electricity consumption and CO2 emissions by approximately 40%.
We would like to introduce a case study of decarbonization through geothermal utilization that our company has implemented. At a leather goods factory, we installed a waste heat recovery unit (cooling output 105kW) in addition to an existing electric air conditioning unit (cooling output 175kW). By using the waste heat recovery unit to cover the base operation of the existing unit, we were able to reduce electricity consumption and CO2 emissions. [Case Overview] ■ Industry: Leather goods factory ■ Model: Hot water absorption chiller 30RT, 1 unit ■ Waste heat amount: 151kW (geothermal) ■ Cooling water application: Air conditioning within the factory ■ Energy-saving effect: 72,900 (kWh/year) *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
