Utilizing cold water generated from wood pellets as fuel for hospital air conditioning.

Installation of a wood pellet-fired absorption chiller for cooling and heating water! A case where it covered the base operation of the existing unit.

We would like to introduce a case study of decarbonization through the use of wood biomass that our company has implemented. We added a wood pellet-fired absorption chiller (cooling output 637 kW) to an existing kerosene-fired absorption chiller (cooling output 1,337 kW). By using the wood pellet-fired absorption chiller to cover the base operation of the existing unit, we were able to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions. 【Case Overview】 ■ Business Type: Hospital ■ Model: Two wood pellet-fired Bio Aloe Ace units ■ Heat Input: 603 kW (wood pellets) ■ Cooling Water Application: Air conditioning within the hospital ■ Energy Saving Effect: 922,400 (kWh/year) *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
