The photocatalytic material "Titanistar(R)" is a photocatalyst produced by applying a unique surface oxidation treatment to pure titanium metal, generating titanium components within pure titanium as photocatalytic titanium dioxide. The substrate is pure titanium metal, not a titanium alloy. Therefore, it is not a coating type and does not use any of these raw materials. - Pure titanium substrate types include plates, meshes, lath meshes, and non-woven fabrics. All of these are flat, but three-dimensional molding processing in specified shapes, such as cylindrical forms, is possible. - Selection and shapes of pure titanium types: From performance and cost perspectives, "lath mesh material" treated with Titanistar is widely used, regardless of liquid phase or gas phase systems. - Titanistar series: - Titanistar MI=O: Dedicated for interference color effects. It has lower performance within the series. - Titanistar MI-W: Gas phase reaction type. Focused on performance. - Titanistar MI-C: Liquid phase reaction type. Thickness of the film. What is the photocatalyst "Titanistar"? It is not a coating-type photocatalyst, nor does it use any of the raw materials employed in those types. By simply performing surface oxidation treatment on titanium within pure titanium metal, it generates a titanium dioxide photocatalytic film on the surface of pure titanium. This film contains no impurities and is generated without a boundary interface with pure titanium. It is characterized by high photocatalytic ability and a highly durable film.
