Introduction of observations on large sponge titanium and small sponge titanium.

The sponge titanium small was classified into processed and unprocessed products, and the differences in surface conditions were observed using a scanning electron microscope (SEM) at varying magnifications. What is the photocatalyst "Titanistar"? It is not a coating-type photocatalyst, nor does it use any of the raw materials typically employed in such products. By simply performing surface oxidation treatment on titanium within pure titanium metal, a titanium dioxide photocatalyst film is generated on the surface of pure titanium. This film contains no impurities and is formed without any boundary on the pure titanium. It is characterized by high photocatalytic ability and a highly durable film. What the photocatalyst "Titanistar" can solve: - Water purification and water quality improvement, although it is not suitable for purifying highly contaminated water. - Gas purification and air cleaning. - General bacteria and various virus countermeasures. Discussion: It has been found that the specific surface area of sponge titanium large and sponge titanium small, measured by the BET method, has a consistent area. Additionally, surface observation using SEM revealed that a porous film is generated through Titanistar treatment.
