As the number of workplace accidents involving older workers increases, how should companies prepare? The Age-Friendly Subsidy (for the fiscal year 2025) is a program for small and medium-sized enterprises that provides up to 1 million yen in assistance for measures to prevent workplace accidents among older workers. Through four courses, support is available for risk assessment, equipment improvement, exercise guidance, and health promotion measures. Subsidy Application Schedule: From May 15, 2025, to October 31, 2025. If the budget amount is reached, applications may close even before the end of the period. Application Requirements: The applicant must be a small or medium-sized enterprise that has been in business for at least one year at the time of application and employs at least one worker aged 60 or older on a regular basis.
