◎ What is Aluminaize α treatment… It is a processing method that involves performing low-temperature thermal diffusion treatment on the aluminum layer on the surface to allow mutual diffusion of the aluminum layer, forming an alloy layer (Fe-Al intermetallic compound). ◎ Why does it not seize… When the surface of the screw or the mating material reaches high temperatures, oxidation occurs and scales of over 6μ are generated. When removing the bolt, the generated scale accumulates (sticks) in the clearance between the female and male threads, causing seizing or galling.
