Fine ceramics processing
If it's about fine ceramics, you can trust us with engineering ceramics and machinable ceramics as well.
Our company specializes in the sale of ceramic processed products and the processing of ceramic materials supplied by customers (processing is generally outsourced). Based on the drawings provided by customers, we handle material selection, procurement, machining, and firing to manufacture parts and components for various customers in the manufacturing industry, focusing on heat resistance, wear resistance, corrosion resistance, and electrical insulation. We also offer processing of ceramic materials supplied by customers. The features are as follows: - We handle a wide range of ceramics, allowing us to supply most materials. - Using various machines such as machining centers, NC lathes, and polishing machines, we can produce most shapes. - We can accommodate a variety of production quantities, from one piece to ten thousand pieces. - We have a thorough understanding of the properties of various ceramics, enabling optimal material selection according to requirements. Fine ceramics possess different characteristics, including: - Excellent heat resistance - Excellent wear resistance - Excellent chemical resistance - Excellent electrical insulation - Excellent thermal conductivity Therefore, it is important to select materials based on the required properties. If you provide us with information regarding necessary properties such as heat resistance temperature, usage environment, and application, we will select the appropriate materials and provide relevant documentation.
basic information
Fine ceramics are classified into two types: - Engineering ceramics - Machinable ceramics. Engineering ceramics are processed by cutting and then sintered, and after sintering, they can only be ground or polished, exhibiting excellent wear resistance. Machinable ceramics, on the other hand, are not sintered after cutting, allowing for repeated cutting similar to general resins and metals. However, they are harder and more brittle compared to general resins and metals, making them difficult to process and resulting in longer processing times. Examples of engineering ceramics include: - Alumina (Al2O3) - Silicon nitride (Si3N4) - Zirconia (ZrO2) - Silicon carbide (SiC) - Aluminum nitride (AlN, engineering type) - Mullite - Cordierite - Steatite - Porous ceramics Examples of machinable ceramics include: - Hotver - Maselite - Macor - Shapal M Soft (aluminum nitride, machinable type) - Boron nitride (BN, boron nitride) - Mica Rex MM400 (Mica Rex M-31)
