Group3 テスラメータは、この価格帯では例の無いほど高性能のホール効果磁場測定器です。Group3 独自のユニークな直線性補正と温度補正技術によりホール効果デバイス特有の問題を解決しました。 Group3 では出荷前にプローブ一本づつ、数百点の磁場強度値、異なる温度の特性データを測定します。測定データはキャリブレーションPCで解析し、校正係数をプローブ自身に記録し出荷しています。 Group3 テスラメータに搭載されている先進のソフトウェアアルゴリズムは、このデータに基づき校正された磁場強度を測定することが可能です。 また、ホールプローブの小さな感磁域はフィールドマッピングに最適で、不均一磁場での“on-the-fly” 測定（プローブを移動させながらの測定）、およびＡＣ磁場測定にも好都合です。 このような磁場測定はNMR 磁場測定では上手く行うことができません。NMR 磁場測定の精度に迫るほど高精度のGroup3 テスラメータでは、このような難しい磁場測定をNMR磁場測定よりはるかに安価で行うことができます。
