Moxa 12G Port Full Gigabit PoE+ Managed Ethernet Switch
The EDS-G512E-8PoE series is a full gigabit managed PoE Plus Ethernet switch equipped with eight 10/100/1000BaseT(X) and IEEE802.3af (PoE)/802.3at (PoE Plus) compliant Ethernet ports, as well as SFP modules that can accommodate up to four optical fiber ports. With the inclusion of gigabit PoE Plus ports, it is ideal for high-bandwidth network communications such as 802.11n and 802.11ac wireless access points, and high-resolution GigE machine vision cameras for toll collection systems. The series can provide up to 36 watts in high power mode for power-hungry powered devices (PDs) such as weatherproof IP surveillance cameras equipped with wipers/heaters and robust IP phones, while offering up to 30 watts in standard mode. The EDS-G512E-8PoE Ethernet switch is highly versatile, and the SFP optical fiber ports, which have a higher EMI immunity compared to copper cables, enable data transmission to control centers located up to 120 km away from the device.
