The prism guide is more cost-effective compared to ball guides and provides a smooth and reliable guiding system. Both the belt drive and prism guide can save costs by requiring minimal maintenance. Thomson's prism guide features a unique self-adjusting system with polymer bushings that run directly on an anodized profile surface.
