Enzyme-resistant grade of hydroxyethyl cellulose (suppresses viscosity reduction)

The ultra-high molecular type of HEC is observed to be degraded by enzymes in the liquid, resulting in a decrease in the viscosity of the product. As a countermeasure, we have developed and are selling enzyme-resistant grades!

Our company handles cellulose products manufactured by Ashland in the United States, and we leverage our extensive product knowledge and expertise to support our customers in improving manufacturing efficiency and product quality. The ultra-high molecular weight type of HEC (Hydroxyethyl Cellulose) can be decomposed by enzymes in the liquid, resulting in a decrease in product viscosity, depending on the formulation. We have developed and are selling enzyme-resistant grades to enhance the viscosity stability of the product. 【Representative Products】 ■ Natrosol Series (Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HEC); high molecular grade) ■ Natrosol Plus Series (Hydrophobic Hydroxyethyl Cellulose (HMHEC); high molecular grade) 【Representative Properties】 ■ Thickening ■ Suspension ■ Flow/Leveling ■ Water retention ■ Colloid stabilization ■ Film formation ■ Adhesive strength ■ Binder ■ Stabilizer ■ Surfactant ■ Crystal growth improvement
