In a clean room with a grating floor, clean air supplied from the ceiling is exhausted under the floor, whereas general clean booths exhaust air through gaps in the floor surface. Additionally, if there are openings on the sides for conveyors or other equipment, air is also exhausted from those points. In fact, the area of these exhaust openings is crucial.
