CFRP polyhedron, with acrylic foam inside!
● A product that applies the structural theory of radar domes (Radar Dome) that does not degrade the performance of radio waves emitted from the radar. Speakers also require a structure that transmits a certain frequency band without loss, just like radio waves. Care must be taken in the selection of hardeners that increase “tanδ” in matrix resins, as well as in preventing the contamination of impurities. ● As the frequency increases, the wavelength shortens, necessitating a thinner cover; however, this simply reduces mechanical strength. Therefore, materials with high specific rigidity and specific strength are advantageous. Additionally, since the transmittance changes depending on the angle of the incident radio waves, a larger diameter is preferable for spherical radar domes. ★ For more details, please request materials or download the documents.
