Solid latent heat storage material VO2/Cu [Heat storage temperature adjustable between 35~70℃]
"Protect electronic devices from sudden fever" by properly dispersing metals and using spark plasma sintering (SPS) to develop a solid latent heat storage material with high thermal responsiveness!
Vanadium dioxide (VO2), which exhibits a metal-insulator transition, is known to be useful as a phase change material (PCM) because it generates a large latent heat without melting. However, there was a challenge due to its low thermal conductivity, which prevented the interior from undergoing a phase change instantaneously. Therefore, we developed a solid latent heat storage material with high thermal responsiveness by appropriately dispersing metal and using spark plasma sintering (SPS). 【Features】 ■ Can store heat without melting, unlike typical PCMs ■ Maintains processability equivalent to metals ■ High thermal responsiveness *The developed product is about 470 times that of paraffin (as of 2023) \ For more details, please check "Download Catalog" /
