The LC type can be used for intermediate connections outdoors. The LC type of SW20 can perform male-to-male (plug to plug) intermediate connections outdoors. If there is a shortage of optical cables at the installation site, it is possible to extend the connection by preparing a cable with plugs on both ends of the SW20 and an adapter (J-J) as shown in the right diagram.
