Compact Magnetic Stripe Card Reader MS242

The compact MS242 magnetic stripe reader can read cards with up to 3 tracks from either direction.

The MS242, housed in a sturdy case, is made with the highest quality components for smooth card swiping. Its unique head design offers ease of use to the user by ensuring reliable reading with over a million read cycles and a single swipe. The entire unit is approximately the same length as a credit card, measuring 100 millimeters. The MS242 supports three-track magnetic stripe cards regardless of the swipe direction or speed. It can connect to a PC or Mac via a USB interface, and on Windows PCs, it is possible to program the data format and configuration according to the application's communication requirements. It can be mounted on a counter or wall using two brass screw holes at the bottom or Velcro. Additionally, the LED indicator lights up red to alert the user in case of an error. Unitech's MS242 is an intelligent and programmable magnetic stripe card reader that packs all its features and value into a user-friendly size.
