In other words, accredited testing and calibration laboratories are recognized internationally for both their quality management capabilities and technical abilities within the scope of their accreditation.

Products primarily made from soybean sprouts ≪Testing Method≫ The items subject to testing are limited to "soybeans and soybean processed products" (as defined by the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries based on the provisions of Article 7, Paragraph 1 of the Standards for Quality Labeling of Processed Foods Related to Genetically Modified Organisms and Article 7, Paragraph 1 of the Standards for Quality Labeling of Fresh Foods, corresponding to Appendix 1 and Appendix 2 of Agricultural, Forestry and Fisheries Ministry Notification No. 517). DNA is extracted from the samples (using the DNeasy Plant Maxi kit), and the presence of genetically modified crops in the samples is confirmed using the PCR method.
