The Tawaramachi Forest Association aims for self-reform into a global forest association in the era of global environmental and resource energy circulation, and has established Action Guideline 21, "Eight Strategies in the Mountains." At the same time, the forest association has obtained FSC certification. Additionally, the town-owned afforestation areas that have been jointly developed so far have been recognized as a Forest Therapy Road. This therapy road has been named "OAAO Road" and is being used for purposes such as "forest kindergartens."
