ABB's large-capacity power conditioner for solar power generation, PVS800, introduces 1000 kilowatts - The product lineup of ABB's power conditioner (PCS) for solar power generation, PVS800, has been newly expanded to include 875kW and 1000kW, and sales have begun in the domestic market.
The PVS800 not only reduces the overall system costs of the plant but also excels in improving efficiency. Its compact design is simple and easy to maintain. The range of ambient temperatures (rated) and usable altitudes has also expanded further. Additionally, the DC input section features an expandable wiring module structure, allowing for flexible system integration. It performs powerfully in large power plants and also simplifies complex system configurations in plants with a capacity of 2 megawatts or less. In response to the decline in FIT, further efficiency improvements in solar power plants have become a challenge in the domestic market. By introducing high-capacity power conditioners, it contributes not only to price reductions for the power conditioner alone but also to overall price reductions for the entire system, including transformers, installation, construction, and maintenance. The newly released high-capacity power conditioner also adopts the same ABB power module as the current PVS800 series, which is widely adopted in Japan due to its high reliability. *For more details, please refer to the attached release.
