Our collaborative robot, YuMi, was born in 2015 as a robot that creates the future together with people, embodying the concept of "You & Me." YuMi holds the innovative power to pave the way for a new world in manufacturing. We are confident that the possibilities will expand even further when this excellent robot meets your wonderful ideas. At ABB Robotics & Motion Division, we are hosting the Collaborative Robot Utilization Idea Contest, YuMi Cup 2017, to create opportunities for everyone involved in the future of various industries to meet YuMi and realize their ideas for the future together with YuMi. We are looking for surprising ideas that can capture the future of YuMi and industrial robots. The three finalists who make it to the final selection will have the opportunity to borrow a real YuMi for two months and, with the support of our engineers, program their submitted ideas into actual applications in this unique idea contest.
