Membrane(13)
Membranes are selected based on the scale and condition of the substances to be filtered. By winding them in a spiral shape or forming them into tubular or fiber shapes and placing them in pressure vessels, they become modules. In the United States, due to water quality and regulatory concerns, membranes are used at levels several dozen times greater than in Japan. It is also necessary to select the shape, pore size, and membrane material according to the application and the environment in which they will be used.
