Webinar Announcement: How to remotely control equipment in wide areas where Wi-Fi doesn't reach, such as mountainous regions, outdoors, and factories, with "almost just placing it."
On Thursday, August 28, 2025, we will hold a webinar themed "How to remotely control equipment in wide areas where Wi-Fi does not reach by 'almost just placing' it." LoRaWAN is a Low Power Wide Area (LPWA) technology that enables stable wireless communication over wide areas with very low power consumption. It allows for remote monitoring and control of equipment over a wide range, even in locations where Wi-Fi and mobile networks do not reach, making it expected to be utilized in various fields such as agriculture, factories, outdoor facilities, and infrastructure management. [Recommended for those with the following challenges] - Equipment monitoring and control in mountainous areas or large factories - Remote control of infrastructure equipment - Reduction of sensor installation and maintenance costs - Promotion of DX (Digital Transformation) and labor-saving in the field In this seminar, we will clearly explain the mechanism of LoRaWAN nodes, installation methods, and how to utilize them based on adoption results. We hope you will take this opportunity to participate.

【Leyline Adoption Results】Digitalization of Organic Waste Composting Know-How
Kagoshima Prefecture's Osaki Town, which boasts the highest recycling rate in Japan, and Oaknet IBS have collaborated to start a "demonstration experiment for sharing know-how on composting food waste," in which Advanet's "Leyline" has been adopted as a wireless temperature sensor device to collect data necessary for temperature management during the composting process. The most important aspect of composting work is managing the temperature during the fermentation process, which varies between 60°C and 90°C. Compost exists in a high-temperature, high-humidity environment, where corrosive gases are generated as organic matter decomposes. As a result, temperature sensors are prone to corrosion and degradation, requiring regular maintenance and replacement. Additionally, to manage the composting process, automatic collection, storage, and analysis of temperature measurement data are necessary. To address these challenges, Advanet and Oaknet IBS have developed an IoT platform that combines a wireless temperature sensor device for automatic measurement and collection of compost temperature with a dashboard to visualize temperature and compost stirring timing. This platform is being tested and operated in the compost pits of an organic factory in Osaki Town that composts household waste.
