Eurotech has announced the embedded platform "CPU-301-16" equipped with an ARM processor. This platform is a new product that enables IoT, which is the technology for connecting "things" to the internet, and M2M applications. The "CPU-301-16" features a processor from the Freescale i.MX 6 series using ARM Cortex-A9 technology, condensing advanced execution capabilities into a small form factor of 67 x 85mm. With Eurotech's cutting-edge low-power technology, the Freescale i.MX6 processor, reduced current consumption during sleep, and DDR3L memory, the CPU-301-16 can achieve a maximum clock speed of 1.2GHz while keeping power consumption in many applications to 1-2 watts or less.
