Advanet Inc. has developed a CPU board compliant with the VXS/VME bus standard, equipped with the 4th generation Intel Core processor family. The Advme8038 is a VME bus CPU board featuring a VXS P0 connector, enabling high-speed serial communication while leveraging existing assets. In VXS, the communication speed between boards can theoretically be 6.25 times faster than VME. The 4th generation Intel Core processor utilized adopts 22nm process 3D transistor technology, achieving performance improvements with Intel AVX2.0, enhanced security with Intel AES-NI, and reduced power consumption. The Advme8038 incorporates ECC memory to ensure reliability for embedded systems, with the memory directly soldered onto the board. Additionally, the I/O ports include various options such as Serial RapidIO, mSATA, eUSB 2.0, XMC (Gen3)/PMC, Gigabit Ethernet, and serial ports.
