Advanet has released the multi-service gateway ReliaGATE 50-21 for M2M applications in Japan.

The M2M multi-service gateway ReliaGATE 50-21 has obtained certification (Technical Compliance) required for the domestic use of specific wireless equipment or terminal devices based on the Radio Law and the Telecommunications Business Law. Furthermore, the built-in 3G cellular module has passed NTT Docomo's IoT (Inter-Operability Test), allowing it to connect to the cloud using NTT Docomo's FOMA network for remote device usage. The ReliaGATE 50-21 employs a low-power processor from Intel, enabling battery operation and excellent vibration and shock resistance. The ReliaGATE 50-21 is a flexible, readily deployable platform equipped with various wireless functions, enabling rapid construction of M2M services. It offers wireless capabilities such as 3G cellular, Wi-Fi, ZigBee, and GPS, as well as various interfaces including Gigabit Ethernet, serial ports, USB, CAN, analog inputs, and isolated digital I/O. By providing flexible connectivity with a wide range of sensors, it facilitates easy collection of field data.
