The Adpmc1548A is a PCI mezzanine card with a 4-channel RS-232C serial interface function. It is equipped with two TI NS16C2552 equivalent serial controllers. The interface connector uses a half-pitch D-sub 50-pin female connector, consolidating the signals for 4 channels into a single connector. An optional board, AP401, is available for distributing the 4-channel signals from this connector. The AP401 is equipped with a D-sub 9-pin male connector for 4 channels. Additionally, a cable for connecting the Adpmc1548A and AP401 is included with the AP401. As for software, an optional device driver for VxWorks is available.
