The E-070 (EtherCAT-compatible 24-channel RTD module) is a module that allows temperature measurement via the EtherCAT network. The E-070 consists of two boards: a CPU (EtherCAT slave) board and an RTD board. The RTD board receives the RTD sensor inputs and converts them into digital values using a 20-bit A/D converter. The CPU board processes the A/D conversion values to calculate the temperature and notifies the EtherCAT master of the temperature via the EtherCAT network.
