Advantech provides an edge device management software called "DeviceOn" for operators managing edge devices. With the expansion of the IoT market, the number of edge devices continues to rise. While they are implemented in various services and offer advantages in terms of specifications and costs, there are several challenges in the operational field. Three challenges: 1) Remote operation: When issues arise with devices installed in remote locations or at heights, addressing them on-site incurs time and costs. 2) Status monitoring: As the number of devices increases, managing BIOS and driver versions can become complicated. It takes time to grasp the status of the devices. 3) Updates: Although a large number of devices have been deployed, updating each one for new features or applying security patches is time-consuming and cumbersome. To help alleviate the burden of device management, we have prepared a trial version of the software "DeviceOn" (for beginners/professionals) for you to try out.
