RS-232 to RS-422 conversion! Compact model with port power supply support.
The ULI-223D is an industrial converter that converts RS-232 signals (TD/RD) into balanced RS-422 signals, extending communication distances up to 1.2 km. It adopts a port-powered method, obtaining power from the RS-232 handshake lines (DTR/RTS), eliminating the need for an external power supply. It supports bidirectional communication and a maximum data rate of 115.2 kbps. With its compact inline design, it is ideal for space-saving installation in control panels and on-site. It is compatible with Windows and serial communication devices, making it useful for field service and testing equipment.
