The ULI-224TB is an industrial converter that converts RS-232 signals to RS-422/485, extending communication distances up to 1.2 km. Its main features include three types of power options: 1) powered by the RS-232 port, 2) external power supply (12VDC), and 3) battery operation using two AA batteries. This allows for flexible use in low-power ports or in environments where securing power is difficult, such as with laptops. It supports bidirectional communication and a maximum data rate of 115.2 kbps. With terminal block connections, it is ideal for control panels and field wiring. It is also compatible with industrial protocols such as Modbus RTU, making it a highly reliable model suitable for field services and testing equipment.
