The ULI-224TCI is an industrial converter that converts RS-232 signals to RS-422/485, enabling long-distance communication of up to 1.2 km. With three-way isolation (input, output, power), it protects equipment from voltage surges and ground loops, ensuring high reliability in harsh industrial environments. It has obtained UL Class 1/Division 2 certification, making it suitable for hazardous areas such as oil and gas. It supports industrial protocols like Modbus RTU and Allen-Bradley DH485, with a communication speed of up to 115.2 kbps. An external power supply (10-48VDC) is required.
