Eida Engineering Co., Ltd. received the Special Jury Award at the 12th "Companies We Most Want to Cherish in Japan" Awards. While it is easy to put into words "management that makes people happy," it is very difficult to put it into practice. In this award, "people" refers to five groups: 1. employees and their families, 2. external employees and their families, 3. current and future customers, 4. local residents, especially socially vulnerable individuals such as people with disabilities and the elderly, and 5. investors and supporting organizations. If we make people happy, our performance should ultimately improve as well. This award system was initiated with the desire to increase the number of such important companies. The importance of this award is expected to grow even more as we work towards recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake and overcoming the deflationary economy.
