Klinger’s ring joint gaskets are specified and used in major petrochemical plants around the world due to their high reliability.
• Ring joint gaskets are heavy-duty, high-pressure gaskets primarily used in petrochemical applications both offshore and onshore. They are precision-machined components used in conjunction with precision-machined flanges. Clinger's ring joint gaskets are manufactured in accordance with ASME B16.20 and API 6A. • The selection of gasket material is based on several criteria, with chemical compatibility with the fluid and the hardness of the flange being prioritized. Ideally, the hardness of the gasket material should be about 30 Brinell hardness points lower than that of the flange to ensure that the gasket can deform sufficiently without damaging the flange surface. • Worn, pitted, or corroded sealing surfaces on flanges can compromise the sealing performance of ring joint gaskets.
