The Klinger Style 396C is an unprecedented packing that combines exceptional resistance to variable loads with extremely low leakage rates.
Style 396C is different from other companies' expanded graphite products that have various yarn and wire reinforcements as measures to prevent "overflow" and "bursting." Style 396C uses Style 333, which can withstand high pressures of 40 MPa on its own, as its core, and adapts to the expansion and contraction of the stem and clearance due to continuous thermal cycles with its powerful spring effect. It also demonstrates excellent performance in rotating equipment such as boiler feedwater and condensate pumps.
