Analytik Jena GmbH+Co.KG's predecessor is Carl Zeiss Jena, which was founded in 1846 by Carl Zeiss in Jena, Germany. Dr. Ernst Abbe invented the world's first spectrometer and began manufacturing and selling it, marking the beginning of the chemical analysis equipment business. In 1995, the company's analytical instruments division was separated and became independent as Analytik Jena. Since then, it has rapidly developed through numerous innovative technological advancements and is expanding its global business as a manufacturer of scientific analytical instruments in the world market.
