Pentide-C(Penetrating vitamin C derivative)

Pentide-C(Penetrating vitamin C derivative)
"Pentide-C" is a vitamin C derivative stabilized by attaching a peptide to the hydroxyl group of vitamin C. What significantly differentiates it from conventional derivatives is that the attached peptide has functional properties. The peptide in "Pentide-C" penetrates the stratum corneum while remaining bound to the vitamin C. Because vitamin C and the peptide are bound by a peptide bond, this bond is hydrolyzed by peptidase. As a result, the vitamin C is easily released into a free state.
