Presentation Summary: With the evolution of high-resolution displays, glare (sparkle) has become a significant issue. To eliminate glare, technological development and quality control of display devices and materials are required, and quantitative evaluation of glare is essential. This presentation will introduce the mechanisms of glare generation in the latest displays and the latest measurement techniques for glare.
