JICA Small and Medium Enterprises and SDGs Business Support Project Completed
Adopted for a project on the promotion, demonstration, and commercialization of advanced wastewater treatment facilities using the Indian national rotary fiber unit, a pilot plant with a capacity of 1000 m³/day will be constructed within a wastewater treatment facility in Bengaluru, South India. Verification will be conducted for one year starting from June 1, 2023, and will conclude on May 31, 2024. Throughout the year, all of India's stringent discharge standards will be met, and a wastewater treatment manual will be created and promoted in India.

Joint research between the Japan Sewage Works Agency and Toshiba at the sewage treatment plant in Sakura City, Tochigi Prefecture.
The Japan Sewerage Business Association and our partner, Toshiba Infrastructure Systems Corporation, conducted joint research from April 2023 to March 2024 at the Ujiie Water Treatment Center (sewage treatment plant) in Sakura City, Tochigi Prefecture, using our wastewater treatment equipment for the purpose of energy conservation and increasing processing capacity.
