Currently, the trend towards larger parts through die casting is progressing. The process of producing the entire front and rear underbody using die casting machines is becoming a reality. For the automotive manufacturing industry, this represents the next significant step. By manufacturing the rear underbody with a single mold, automobile production is dramatically simplified. By consolidating 70 different parts into one, the need for an assembly line equipped with 300 robots is eliminated, saving production space.
